Our Town Centres
I opened my office on Alfred Street in Neath soon after being elected to the Senedd in 2021, and I am honoured to be a part of the community. It also makes me keenly aware of some of the challenges we face – such as a spate of burglaries and attacks on local businesses in 2022, the blow of losing Marks and Spencer’s in 2024 and ongoing challenges of keeping the market a thriving hub. From finding out about what you think via my ‘Future of Neath town centre’ survey, to hosting a meeting at the market with Welsh Government and Neath Port Talbot Council, since I’ve been elected to the Senedd I’ve been campaigning hard for a bright future for Neath Town Centre and others like it across the region.
